Are there any free / low cost software or (preferably) online list management websites that you can recommend? I’ve tried searching on Google but I’m not sure what search terms to use.

Here’s what I would like to happen:

1) subscribers visit a website to leave their contact details to sign up to my newsletter alerts

2) I visit the website and download the emails of the subscribers into an excel file.

3) I upload the excel contacts into my existing email software to get in touch with my subscribers.

Email list management for marketing?

I’m pretty proficient in creating videos, but I need a way to make them look professional to viewers, as simple as clicking a link for them to open, and be able for me to track the results. I would prefer software that automatically notifies me when the recipient watches the video, so I can follow-up immediately (i’ve heard of software that can do that).

I also wouldn’t mind if the software had video conference and live chat features.

I have a mac.

So why people would choose to make a monthly payment instead of just buying a software once and have the same features to send marketing mails?

What are the major difference?

i know there are marketing email companies like:iContact Constant Contact Benchmark Bronto Campaigner Vertical Response MailChimp Stream Send etc..

but there are also great softwares out there that does the same thing.

What i want to know is why people would just waste their money on a monthly service instead of just buying a software once and have the same service.

2, I know a lot of ways(SEO,etc) to promote a site, but I need more time to do that. This moment, I just want to have more users and registrations, so I think email marketing should be an effective way. But I do not want to send tons of spams to other’s mailbox using email software. I want to join some hot, active communities and invite members to join my site. Can you suggest some quality websites, communities, clubs, …? Don’t worry, I will not spam you. LOL.
