We are a new business in town and need something more for Business Partnerships besides “you hand out ours, we’ll hand out yours” thing. Also, to attract new customers, we have used signage with balloons, fliers on cars, and customer referral bonus. Right now we are not looking to advertise with any of the media.
Does anyone have any other ideas of attracting new customers? We would appreciate any and all ideas!!

Not knowing what kind of business you’re in does hurt a bit, but one simple way to increase referrals is to reward for them – and not just a customer bonus, but for your business partners too.
A simple question you need to know the answer to: “how much am I willing to pay to get a new customer?”
Then instead of rejecting “any of the media” you have a solid basis to evaluate “did this particular media or campaign bring in customers above or below that cost?”
