If you reset someone’s email password, will they notice that someone got into their e-mail account? Or will they just think that it was some sort of a glitch on the website or a virus?

It depends on whether or not they think someone has the motivation to do that. Typically those glitches are few and far between.
no, they will not notice that someone got into their account…depending on the situation, if you have ur email linked up with that email account, then they might send info to the main user account
dont try to hack someone else’s password, thats wrong. but there is no way to find out if it is a glitch a they got hacked, except that the password doesnt work, so yeah they would figure it out..
